Personal Records: Most miles in a calendar year?

Just outta curiosity, what's the most miles you've put on your bike in a 12 month period?

The first year I began riding I put a little over 10k miles under my belt from May to December... By that time I had done a pair of track days and I haven't done that much street riding since, though I have had some awesomely memorable street rides


Any good long season or trip stories?

not positive about any yearly record, but i did do about 900 in one weekend. left central mass on a friday afternoon and rode to ocean city, md. came back on sunday. this was done on an R6

I guesstimated 10,000. I put over a grand on the 250 before I gave it to Traci, put ~8850 on the 650 and rode the 250 a few times before putting it away.

The only good year I had was in 2005. I rode my old CBR everywhere. I probably did about 8k that year. Seems like each year it goes down more and more. A condominium to keep up, new job role with higher responsibilities, and a girlfriend to keep happy ='s low mileage!!! BOOOO!!!

21,000 last year most of the miles were at the Gap, the Snake (rode there almost everyday) and the track

When i was a teenager i rode exclusively for three years but i don't remember the mileage

it's hard to say. I put ~8200 on the Harley this year. I also rode the CBR about 500 miles, an R1 about 100 miles, and R6 <100 miles, a V-Max <100 miles. As you can see a lot of used bikes.
The best ride this season left out of Nashua, NH. rode 101 to Milford then 13 north to Concord, and old 3A north to the Notch, over through to Berlin, down 16 to Portsmouth, Rt1 to Salisbury, Ma. Stopped in at the UpperDeck Bar in Salisbury. A great place to have a beer, tell Louise I sent you Then 110 down through to Lowell. Then I went to Westford, my buddy went to Nashua.

Also the Trebuche ride in October was nice

This has been my best year so far; I've done probably 15,500 or 16,000 miles so far. Don't know exactly. I expect next year to be better.

I've done 15k a few seasons.

This season's mileage was rescued by a trip to the GP races in Indy and back home via the Dragon. Round trip was just shy of 3k.

I did over 10,000 Miles/yr for a few years during college. The bike a GPZ 750 was my only transportation other than public, feet and bumming rides.

I put 11,000 miles on my 1990 CBR600F the first year I took it out of the showroom.

the most I ever put on in a year is somewhere around 35k, average about 28k, this year, only 15k so far, didn't go on my usually 4000-5000 mile weeks vacation at deals gap, and moved my office to my barn so I cut back on commuting 150 miles a week

I've had the tuono for 1 year and it's got 7k on it. However thanks to some idiot who couldn't keep her eyes on the damn road, I spent 2.5/3 months without it at in the spring.

I put 3500 from July 4th to current, and a few hundred on the 636 before it was retired ... so about that.

I'm willing to bet I didn't even break 1000 miles on the street this year....my first year riding in 06 I put a butt load of miles on, probably around 15k

I'll have only done about 7k this season. Hopefully more next year. I had a lot of stupid little things happen (not to the bike, to me) that prevented me from riding as often as I'd like. I also didn't ride on the weekends as often as I would have liked. Most of my riding was the weekly commute.

Oh well, next year 10k hopefully!

Most of my Miles this year Were on the Toe-cuter SV it did not have a speedo or Odometer.

Most ever was about 19k mi, in 2000. This year I got in about 8000 street miles. Most in a week was 5500, on a gixxa.

This year was a little less than 10K. Would have been more but I was working 6 days a week most of the time, seemed like every day I got out of work it would start to rain and I took a few weeks off after hitting the coyote to make sure nothing was severely broken. I don't like making excuses but I'm just gauging for next year without all of that happening should be well over 15K.
