I like the look and the concept, but that price is going to keep Buell out of most people's minds and mouths until he makes a much more affordable version (which apparently won't be far behind).

I'd love to see an 1190CR variant at some point down the road.

Who said anything about an affordable version? Maybe EBR is looking for 1125r trade ins to convert into race bikes..... Pete, no passenger pegs = she will notice.... but then I would have a VERY lightly used Shoei size small for sale....

We'll see... putting the cush there limits the cushion range, and the amount of cushion material putting up with the load. That cush drive may only be good for half a season, or may last 5 years but not do much of value, will be interesting to see how it fares.

I am pretty sure that is the same system that was in the 1125R since it was released. I have never heard of a failure with that component.

The cush drive in that case was in the front BELT sprocket, much more room to work with. I've not heard of a front chain sprocket based cush setup and can't see how you could pull it off in the space of a 520 17t unit.
