Should not be installed on an FZ1.If you encounter this combo ignore the manufacturers recommended tire pressure settings & hope for the best or i promise you'll soon experience some less than zen moto moments
Carry on....
I hate when I lose my Moto-Zen.![]()
I liked the PR2CTs on my 2nd gen FZ1. I think i probably ran them 35-36psi.![]()
I'll be spoonin' on some powers soon as these OE slugs have been toasted.
yeah I aired 'em up for the warmer weather made for an interesting ride to work......

Are you talkin' PR's or PR2CT's?
My experience with the original PR's on my Gen 1 FZ1 was.. meh, but the 2CT's are great. I run factory standard pressure (36/39).

PR'S I haven't sampled 2ct's yet
Yeah, totally different. I highly suggest the 2CT's. You'll smoke through a Power rear, IMO.

You should try the Michelin Pilot Road 2. More money, but you will get significantly more life and performance out of them. They will be a much better value in the long run.
If you feel you must have a hypersport tire, try the new Pilot Pure. Not that much more than the Power 2CT, but a significant leap in technology from the older Power and Power 2CT.
There is an interesting write-up on the Pure in the new RRW mag.

Ya I'll start shoppin' soon as the old bank account recovers a little. I just find
it suprising that the big three continue to spec out touring tires for 100+rwhp
motorcycles......I'm real interested in the 2ct because at this point i haven't
spun up the pr unless I was heeled over.![]()
The Concours 14 and the FJR1300 put out well over 100HP and do quite well with a Sport touring tire.
Do you really use everything a Power can give you on the street?
