Yeah, the only thing that makes me think it was stolen is the right side broken directional. I bet they threw it up on a truck bed and the directional just snapped. Either way no title = sketchy as hell.

ask him what happened and for the vin number if he sends it to you call to have it run they say its stolen say you found it on cl.

4k for no title? way too many stolen bikes up on craigslist this year.. went to see a CBR for my friend last month he liked it and when we called the guy to go pick it up the week after he admitted the bike was stolen and the police had found it in his property and took it away..!

I'd sell my 05 R6 with a title for that price.. although that has almost no miles on it. If it was stolen I'd expect someone with half a brain to just put it up for something a lot lower like 2K just to get rid of it quick.

It still says $4000 for the OP because craigslist will load a cached page from his first visit, so he will not see any edits. If you hit shift+F5 you will get the updated page.

Regardless, he's right, shouldn't be about price. Did you email the police in the town the bike is in with a link to the post? That's what I usually do. I'm sure they rarely follow up, but it makes me feel better.

He blocked the license plate on the trailer and I can't make out any of the print on the trailer either....
He mailed asking the VIN and got no reply...

Maybe email and tell him you want to meet up to by with cash and get an addy?...
