    Shoulda came anyway, bro... we didn't leave my place till 11:30 or so & we barely did 90 miles. It turned into more of a scenic ride w/ some nice twisties thrown in here & there.

    I figured that's what the ride would have turned in to. I know damn near every twisty road from Salem/Ipswich/Bev/etc up the coast, and most of the time I just end up cruising and enjoying the scenery. If you go out any time this week let me know.

    You were at Lime Rock?
    My friends AJ and Ozzy and I (Mike) were there, busting out on our Suzuki JR50(yellow) and KTM 50(orange) all weekend. The race was awesome altho i was dissapointed at the Astons for not being there this year for GT1, and the similarly small field in P1. The R10 was eerily quiet, quite different from the R8. Was very pleased with Porsche's win in P2 (HUGE PORSCHE FAN). Saturday was beautiful tho, and made up for the rain on thursday night and friday. I try to make as many Watkins Glen and Lime Rock races as i can per year (Rolex-Grand Am, ALMS, Ferrair weekends, Vintage weekends). Get in touch if you are makin any more trips this year, and def for next year's races, i'll be there.

    sorry to threadjack, but i just figured i'd poke my head in with an update since i'm in the "no-real-advance-notice-needed-for-group-ride" radius... i'm hoping to head up to NH to sign some paperwork and stuff for the new bike (leftover red '06 SV650S), although the guys up there are not playing ball so it's looking more and more like i won't be riding her home saturday but rather having to go back up there again (my third time in 2 weeks) with a plate and ride her home, which will probably be wed morning before work (monday before work will be insurance, tuesday before work will be RMV).

    then it's time to break her in oooooooooooh baby
