Pulled off the FZ1 Board...
Tragedy
Worth reading...
I may be seen as a saftey Nazi/Asshole...but I don't want to have anything to do with this sort of thing....![]()
"A man who views the world the same at 50 as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life.”
Muhammad Ali.
What a bummer...
A good reminder to us all to "Ride your own ride" and keep the "Pace" in mind when on group rides...
2010 BMW S1000RR - Soon to be track dedicated!
2006 BMW K1200 R
2002 Honda CBR 600 F4i - Trackbike - SOLD
2003 Kawasaki EX 250 - Hers
2008 Toyota Tacoma TRD - Sport
I can still walk around in my garage, I need more toys...
As terrible as it is to hear these things, I'm really truly glad I have. These stories sit in the back of my mind every single time I get on my bike, and make me think twice about every action I take.
Thanks for posting.

A sobering read and is perfect for a situation on another board I'm on where someone dumped his Ninja 250 (after having it two weeks, less than 400 miles) and now says he's ready for a ZZR600. Granted, it's not an all out RR, but it's about getting in over your head and NOT riding your own ride.

damn sucks to read those stories but its a humbling reminder. i started out on a cbr600 a few months ago and have not had one situation where i tried to keep up. just have to ride with extra self control.
