$75 bucks... a little more than I expected.

Probably wouldn't be a good idea to use it for any kinda maintenance though.

I'm not sure what to think of it. looks kinda handy but they need to make a video with the wheel being taken off so we can see how well it handles a little shaking.

Yeah, it's not recommended for that. It likely won't handle much shaking at all.
I suppose you could break all the bolts while it's just on its side stand, then put it up on that & remove the wheel though. But one false move & it's on the ground.NOTE: This stand is intended for chain maintenance only. For safety reasons, do no run the motor while the bike is lifted on the jack.
Really, I think this thing's good for lubing the chain & that's about it.

Lubing and cleaning...otherwise useless....pretty cool though.
I have a wooden one that I made a few years ago. Mine leans up against the swing arm and falls into place when I tilt the rear wheel off the ground by pulling on the passenger grab rail and pivoting the mass of the bike on the side stand.
they could design a wider/foldable base for better stability, but price is a bit steep for a portable stand.
I like this better: http://www.getgeared.co.uk/Motorcycl...5&category=271
Your sidestand damn well better be solid, or things will get ugly...
If life gives you lemons... Sue the motherfu**er!
... Very similar thing called the "PackJack", but is 1/2 the price

For any body that has some time to fiddle in the garage, make one of those that will fit thru the rear axle snugly, have a semi flat foot so it doesn't want to roll, and your velcro strap or coper wire to lock the front brake.
And then you might have something a little more sturdy.

Legend in my own mind
I wouldnt use this thing, looks sketchy. why not just use a plain old rear stand?
or 1 like this if ya wanna blow money. I really like this stand.

For me, on the KLR, I use a couple shitty cheap ratchet straps to keep the milk crate on the back. They also double as tire changing mechanism. Just push the bike under any low tree branch and hike the ass end of the bike up, even if just enough to get it on the sidestand only.
Or, lean the bike up against a guardrail facing the kickstand side. Strap bike to said rail. Done. Tire is off the ground secure as anything.
Cheaper, safer, easier.
