Just found out that one of the coolin fans in my 97 gsxr was melted. the guy at the dealership said that, while i should get this fixed, it is not THAT important at this time since its not hot anymore and 1 fan still works....
do you guys think ill be ok for this season or is this something i should do right now?

if you ride back roads then you will be fine. i have 2 TLR's with no fans.
If you ride on city streets then your going to need them once you stop intraffic for long periods of time.
Just keep an eye on your gage, you should be fine!

check out muzzy, maybe you can get an aluminum fan kit, I did and it helped keep things cool, in addition to remedying the melted fan problem...![]()

Yip, pretty much what he said. But keep in mind that his (and my) TL-R's run pretty hot. You could probably ride the thing the rest of it's natural life with just one fan. But it's probably short money to replace the fan (go aftermarket) for a little piece of mind...Originally posted by TLRVaz

I definatly want one if it will fit my gsxr
Cycle 128 in beverley said it would cost me like 200$ + to install
