what should i expect to pay for a paint job on a 07 cbr 600rr race plastics, any painters out there.

Somewhere between 100 bucks and 5000 bucks.

Too bad it's not an '08 cbr, I hear paint jobs on those are cheaper.

I paid 350 for Daisy. But is was a pretty simple 2 color job.

Just finished doing mine. Two tone. Cost me...about $30. 3 cans of rattle spray and 1 attachment to the cans to make it easier to paint (trigger sprayer). After doing it, I suggest spending $50, and getting enamel paint and then a good clearcoat enamel. I was an idiot and didn't check the paints. Each color was a different company and the black didn't like the clear I used.

Point is, it's a track bike. Doesn't need to be all that pretty. Why spend a lot of $ on something that will likely get scratched to hell, if from nothing more than being taken off and on a fairly normal basis.

you ain't kidding. the paint job on my 07 was pretty pricey. I figure I might as well look good cause I'm not fast

If your not fast , you MUST get a super pretty paint job.
Just remember all the sponser/contingensy stickers and what they cover.
Also keep in mind , rustoluim and painters touch has a wide variaty of colors , also have texture paint for the areas that get scratched first .

I bought a can of chrome color which looks awsome for a paint , also a metalic darker blue that is real close to suzuki color.
