haven't been thru on my Vee, but have been thru on my old SV650
being familiar with all the roads mentioned so far in this thread, I'm glad I live 20 miles north, all nice roads, but too many driveways to my liking

Yeah, it might have a dirt part that connects to 4, but I get on it at the end of 155A, crossing 155, to bypass the Lee circle on my way to 125 north from Durham. It changes names a few times along the way between 155 and 125.
LOL! I remember Cherry Lane! Checked it out in my truck once...
Yes.. I was off by one road. Had to google it. :bitchslap: "Sheep" Road (south of 4) is what I was thinking of as well. It is definitely gravel. I can't remember now if they paved Old Mill or not.
Snell is super fun. That up/down with a sharp left hander. Very good time.
I cut off the circle by taking Old Mill which goes past the sand pits. Which is doing it wrong in comparison to Snell.
I surveyed the gravel pits and re-engineered the road thru the pit area a few years ago
Nice! I believe my father walked that property not too long ago in conjunction with the hysterical society and/or Southeast Land Trusts. He's been getting more active in both now that he's retarded.. er retired. Probably checking up on your work. Or at least thinking he was.
because I use my bike as company vehicle, I get to ride at all hours and days of week
best riding days are monday thru thursday after 9am, traffic begins to pick up about 2:30 or so. Other than commuting hours, Saturday is the worse day of the week, Sunday is so-so Friday afternoon can be as bad as Saturday but not always
on back roads mentioned in this thread, traffic is almost non existent on week days after 9:am
