Any tall/skinny guys out there with good fitting off-the-shelf jackets?
If so, what are your measurements, the brand of jacket, and how well does it fit?
I'm 6'0, 138lbs, 38" chest, with a 32" waist

Duct tape is like "The Force". It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
You skinny boys are still young. It will all change outta no where someday. Trust me!
And I'm with Da Bergs, Budweiser certainly is NOT beer!
If all else fails, Lean more....
i have a vanson that fits pretty well. not sure what size, i'll look when i get home but its off the rack. another option is picking up a vanson and having them alter it. really isn't that much money compared to what you are getting

Sadly, I don't have any gear that really fits well. I've got a Joe Rocket Balistic jacket that's sized for my arm length, which leaves it very baggy on me. My Advensport size 44 or 46 leather suit is also sized for length, not girth. I HAVE to wear underarmor or even small, walking speed falls can result in nasty burns from sliding inside the suit, sleeves shifting and rotating, etc.
I wear an icon size 42. Its not like baggy, flapping in the wind baggy. It fits well, a LITTLE short in the back when Im leaned over on the bike, but not too bad. It fits good with the armor in, and a sweatshirt on. But its still not bad when I just have a tshirt under it.
Eat a fucking hamburger and fries with some real beer.
As for jackets... definitely look for ones with the waist adjustments. I'm not sure about their leather, but my Rev'IT textile fits snug around the waist.

I wear an Icon Pursuit jacket. I'm 5'11" about 155 ish lbs. It took me a few tries to get the right size because Icon does not print the right sizes on their jackets as labeled on the dealer websites. Mine is a small and fits well, makes me look a little more bulky but not too bad. My only problem with it is that it's not as long as most other jackets but it's not incredibly bulky around the midsection or the chest so it doesn't bunch up, plus it's perforated so even on warmer days you get your protection from leather but won't swelter as bad when moving.
Dianese is almost a sure bet. The are sized for guys like you.
I stopped by the Vanson factory today (which is awesome that they're in our backyard) and ended up buying a full suit $$
but the girls down there were very friendly, gave me advice on what "fits", and gave me a great deal on a 2-piece, matching leather suit that I couldn't refuse
Vanson's: highly recommended![]()
