In the last couple of weeks and this morning I've seen a couple of bikes with flasing head lights. I know that they are illegal on cars, but are they legal on bikes??? They seem to work great as getting someones attention.....it worked so good that I almost ran into the car in front of me this morning when I saw a Suzuki with a flashing head light on the opposite side of the highway.....![]()

Yip, they're legal. They shouldn't be though. As you pointed out, they seem more dangerous than helpful. I think they're an accident waiting to happen...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?

WOW, I just thought RUI was still high from the last race weekend![]()
I agree with Jay. They get attention, but sometimes people mistake it for a flash to allow them to pull out ahead of the oncoming bike. Can you say - T-Bone!
I guy that I ride with occasionally (BMW 1100RT) has some nice flashing red LED's near his brake light though. I think they are a good idea. No - Wait -- maybe NEON around the brake light would be better- HA
