Very nice indeed!
That is a very good example of how to hang off the bike in the corners.
I still cant get comfortable leaning my upper body off the bike that much!

Dudes badass. in my mind i ride like that but then the video shows something else. lol
2006 Yamaha R1, Graves Full Exhaust, BST Carbon Fiber Wheels, K&N Air Filter, EGR Blockoffs, Factory Pro Velocity Stacks, Power Commander 5, Stealth 520 Conversion -1/+1, FP levers, Ohlins shock, Ohlins fg327 forks, Ohlins steering damper, Sato racing rearsets, Goodridge SS shadow brakelines, EBC Extreme pads, Braking SK wave rotors F&R. few other appearance mods.
Great video. Hopefully he has a good year on the track. It's easy to root for him no matter which manufacturer you are a fan of.
DiSalvo has a extremely exaggerated riding style (hanging off style).
could be due to his small stature. doesnt have the weight to counterbalance the bikei guess i shouldnt talk....
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Pretty impressive, but agree that he leans off way more than is necessary
yeah, you guys should show him how to ride.

As a small guy I do feel I need to hang off more than fatties like Oxx.

You should put some weight on. I put the fat in FAsT

Hmm there was a zip tie in the start... then no zip tie later..
Really there is no benefit to hanging off that much, its not changing physics and as you can see from his leathers doesn't produce more grip.
It also takes a lot of extra energy.
actually it does help. the further over you get your head the more upright you'll be pushing the bike. you can see on corner exit he actually moves his head over even further pushing the bike more upright. not saying there aren't guys who make it work with a lot less body movement but for some it does help.
I kinda think he knows what he's doing considering he's been a top pro for awhile, has guest taught at the Freddie Spencer/Yamaha Champions School and now owns his own school.

I'd say he leans over exactly how much he needs to, to get around as fast as he does.
(much faster then any of us) cool video,i second the fu@k winter movement

less you lean the actual bike, more traction you get?
everyone has there own style, it obviously does him well.

DiSalvo takes off his own warmers??!!??!
I hung my fat a$$ off my 675 too far. Once one of the control riders for the NESBA group I was out with at Barber mentioned it, in his critique of my laps, "... and you're hanging off more than you need to, which is great, keep it up, it will serve you well as you get faster". So I kept doing it.
