Advrider "Battle Scooters" forum.
I occasionally see these in Boston: the ultimate all-weather scooter.

There's one for sale on Maine CL.
Dave, is your bike the Vespa GTS 300ie? There's one FS in Meffah [Medford].
I found the scooter/moped for me.

There is a CT90 or 110 at the motorcycle shop / dyno place by the Beanstalk on 106 IIRC.
Can't believe you put a religious plate on it ;)
or does it stand for White Atheist Strongly Protesting?

Probably shouldn't ride around with 7.5 gallons of gas sloshing around.
Hahahah I do the same thing.......

Would do 65-70 mph depending on wind and tuck form.
I wish my wife got into it more and we didn't sell it, but the timing was all wrong on my part. (Not smart when you have a young child).
Now that my daughter is older, I would totally try again on an SR50 if one came along.
There is room for a small child.

VespaDave
would that be VD for short?
Vanity plate + scooter = ****Baller****
Took my Zuma 125 168 miles round trip to Brattleboro Vermont today. Got up to 62mph downhill. I wear a full face helmet and a Joe rocket jacket. I'd rather look like a power ranger than the man without a face. 8 bucks in gas, and room to bring back leftovers/souvenirs, what's not to love?
would've been much faster if i had a local guy to swap out my fading tires...
lol...i kid.
2 hours and 10 minutes to go 84 miles on backroads. tough to beat that time without doubling some speed limits here and there. :)
Scooters are so much fun. I have a 50cc and use it to commute to work and ride around the city. I get 109 miles per gallon and love not having to use the clutch in city traffic.
This is the ultimate riding experience for a scooter, I participated last year and had the best crazy fun. Here is my blog entry.
