If you do get a slip on you'll reduce the overall weight of the bike, and probably have a better sounding one to boot...I didn't notice any hp changes (seat dyno only) on the sv after I made the swap...And maybe another thing to think about..I have a black carbon fiber can and it looks like it has faded a bit over the past two years..
