    Track vids from Friday

I mounted up a camera on my helmet. Works pretty good, but with the wind resistance my neck felt a bit sore the next morning.

This track is about 45 mins from my house. Nothing like a 90 degree day in February...I've got a feeling this summer is going to suck.

BTW - anyone notice anything missing from this track?

    That's right, back to a 2 cylinder, 3 cylinder, and a 4 cylinder.

Nice vid Wookie. you look good there.

i wasn't sure I liked the track at first, but it grew on me as I watched the video. Not happy with the runoff though, seems a tad rocky LOL.

BTW - notice there are no corner workers? They use signal lights (un-maned) instead of flags. It works okay, but the lights are not as eye catching as some dude furiously waving a red flag.

Were there some corners missing? It looks too straight to even come back around on itself...

15 people in each of two groups, 30 mins sessions.

The funny thing is that it would still bunch up. The woman who runs the track day was like...WTF how do 15 guys bunch up on a day like this?

I think 45 feet...looks like 3, 15ft sections. I don't know the top speed. I would call it a medium speed track. BTW - I intended to ride the R6, but that bike is alergic to tracks. Went out on the SV for the first time...loved it.

yeah, they are not shy about putting down tar snakes. I didn't have a problem with them. I think in the wet they might suck, but it never rains down here.

The camera gives kind of a weird perspective. I cut out the first lap (after the first two turns the footage jumps to the second lap), otherwise it is continuous.

From the website "The track is a 1.8-mile, 11-turn asphalt road course. The course is 36-feet wide with over 150 feet of elevation changes and a challenging mix of on and off-camber turns, including the 80-foot rise and drop of Santa Rita (Turn 4, named after the patron saint of the impossible task)."

    Track map http://www.harrishillroad.com/media/...d-inverted.jpg

BTW - in texas there are only 160 degress in a circle.

Wook that's how to show us up ... we're getting 15" of snow and you post this jewel.

good to see you're getting your lean on. actually that track reminds me of Jennings a little, except jennigs is FLAT.

could I hear you hitting the limiter .... a LOT or is that just the wind against the mic?

did they atleast have an ambulance crew or two??
