I watched youtube videos on adjusting suspension ... but i think i'd rather just bring it somewhere for a professional to do.
Anybody recommend a good place?
Does it cost a lot of money to have this done?
Never had work done by him but everyone seems to go to Peter Kates @ GMD Computrack in Bellingham.

I went to see Peter @ GMD and I was impressed. I don't think I'll ever ride a bike with completely stock suspension again.
While it wasn't 'cheap' you get what you pay for...and if you didn't have a ton to spend he will work with you on a starting point and you can always add/change stuff later. I ended up just saying fuckit and bought the farm or at least a barn and some fields to get a good/adjustable starting point.
Now my problem is if the Penske stuff is this good, now I have to wonder what the Ohlins would be like![]()

To simply play with clicker and sag settings, it's pretty cheap.
If you're digging into the forks or shock, the price goes up exponentially... but so do the benefits. Good suspension is worth its weight in gold.

Yeah I should have clarified that, thanks Pete. Peter's costs are very reasonable for what you get and adjustment/setup stuff is very fair.
I added/changed/rebuilt stuff which is where the bulk of my costs came from, but it was all setup for me perfectly and performed as I had hoped and then some.
oh i don't mean to actually buy or rebuild stuff.
i just want to make sure that the sag/rebound/etc (i don't even know the terms) is set up correctly for my weight.
