speaking as some one that almost lost a foot recently...i don't get the flip flop thing, why even risk it when it takes 5 seconds to put on some boots? they don't make you all hot and sweaty so, that's no excuse. i'd even accept some timberlands over flip flops or tennis shoes.

massive foot injurys are horribly unpleasant. compared to this foot situation the arm i broke at the track was just a minor inconvinace.

What you have to understand though, Kham, is that not everyone can be as awesome as you. Sure, you with your awesome skills of riding can look at the F4i and recognize how undeserving of your abilities it is, but for other less cool riders the F4i might actually be regarded as a competent motorcycle.

What I'm saying is, the ability to ride an F4i to, and beyond, it's absolute mechanical limits on the street is an ability you take for granted. This is because you have a gift, a gift from god. But god does not smile the same way on everyone, so for those less blessed with the riding abilities, your F4i would be a wonderful hand-me-down.
