I have owned two Icon's and both were WAY too short in the back. I recently bought this jacket and it is amazing how much higher quality it is. Granted it was $300 compared to 150 but, hey it's your body and i figured it was worth double the money.

cant find st.chris, i feel left out
I dont know man I got an Icon motorhead jacket and I have gone down twice in it. One time probably 30-35 and one time at maybe 15-20. Both in city streets and both being hit by another vehicle. Mine held up well and saved me from rash.
If the jacket doesn't go far down your back it is probably intended to go with matching riding pants instead of jeans or other non-protective pants.
If you don't wear it with the correct pants it doesn't make the jacket bad, just means you're not choosing your gear the way they intended.
Lots of 2-piece leathers seem to be like that, as the pants come up fairly high and have the expansion panel at the back.
Icon don't make shit for pants anymore.. And they have no leathers that I know of..
i dont plan on wearing leather pants on the street, thats why the no zip in icon jackets didnt concern me. mine fits well in the important places especailly the chest and arm area. alot of the other jackets i tried on just felt funny. but they are def. not the racers choice, not too much selection for track gear.
