Anyone ever done a stearing head bearing on a ducati monster??

really don't want to pay a dealer $500 for such a job.

Any guides/directions that you guys know of?

factory service manual would be a good place to look for instructions. Not much to the job, juts takes some time and a few special tools. $500 seems awfully high, mechanic must have boat payment due...

You need shop press, unless you know a guy named Mongoose who doesn't mind holding the DOM tubing while you hammer it with the sledge end of a splitting maul
If the bearing is shagged you need to replace the race too.
