I meant the front number plate, looks like Yami blue in the original, white in the CL ad.

Edit: Grips are changed, possibly bark busters as well. Front tire pattern is different, no breather hose on gas cap.

I would say its the bike as that is a Very rare graphic kit....but hey there is a chance there is more than one but.........

I'm a bit surprised it got stolen from a suburban neighborhood in MA...I live on a main road on LBC and shit gets jacked if you leave your garage open 15 mins unsupervised so my dirt bikes are locked up in the truck, in the garage, or on the street...sucks, but people want money, can't trust anyone!

@ biggity - do you have any other pics of the bike? or is the pic you posted a bit old?

from what I'm seeing - the grips/bars are the same...pipe sprayed, handguards removed, numbers from rear plates removed, blue number plate swapped to white, gas cap vent pulled off, but identical graphics from tank shrouds to tail including aftermarket renthal decal on swingarm...front tire tread is different and I don't see any frame/case guard protectors (the ones that protect the frame from boots)....but the rear sprocket is also different. I can't imagine the thief is smart enough to cover tire tread differences...so I'm still not 100% it's the same bike

My brother just got the bike back last night from having new tires installed.

Jay, the bike was stolen out of Dudley, MA. The only Woonsocket component is that I know one of the officers in the department.

Wait, is that a can of black spray paint on the ground in the CL ad? If that's not a smoking gun...

Just an FYI, Google searching the VIN shows this thread as #1. If your thief was stupid enough to post it on local Craigslist I doubt he'll be smart enough to Google the VIN, but I figured I'd mention it.

The thief probably isnt the one posting it...some lackey for the fence is. Likely another druggie supporting his habit

It looks like they put a bud light can over the gmd sticker on the reservoir and it is being held in place with 2 white zip ties.

I bet bike thefts would go down dramatically if a few of these scumbags where shot in the act,, relying on our "justice" system is a joke at best. Good luck on getting the bike back, hope it happens soon.
