I've crashed me some motorbikes too. So as much as I want to make fun of him...I've done worse.

I would have called it a day after my bike caught fire underneath me.

I have known people like that. You feel badly for them once you're done laughing at them.

I'm surprised the gas station's fire system didn't kick in automatically after the bike became a small bon-fire.

It's like traffic lights, too small to notice!

It didn't get hot enough under that canopy to melt the fuse. And the attendant didn't pull the manual release.

Did you catch the rider with the camera pulling into the station the second time? "Oh my gawd!"

Upside: Looks like the helmet tied to the back of the EX served as an ad hoc frame slider.

He should have made like Colin Edwards and ridden that bike out onto the street yelling "YOLO!"

Yea, I agree with Chipper: I hate to laugh at that. I accidentally lit a small snow blower on fire in my driveway. It is scary when it happens to you. Situations like that really test your ability to think quickly. In my case, I was able to *drag* the snow blower 20 yards out into the dirt road, and bury it in sand to put the flames out. No easy task.
Watching that clip makes me want to be more aware, and look for the fire extinguishers at gas stations, before I start fueling.
The EX dropping later, well, I don't even know what to say about that one...

I knocked my Tiger off the stand in my driveway. It fell over so that the top of the tank ran into the corner of the V-Strom bags, putting a crease in the tank, knocking over the V-Strom, and bending the lid on the other bag.

A 9 year old boy has nothing on me when it comes to wanton destruction!

I have come close to doing this. Three bikes in a one car garage and I was leaving for work the earliest that morning. I backed my bike out, tipped it over onto myself trying to squeeze it past my ninja. My bike fell into me, I fell backwards into my roomates bike sandwiching myself.. Thankfully his was more or less up against a wall and I was able to right my bike.

    I'd laugh...... however.......

I crashed my KTM supermoto in front of a well known bmw bike shop, I use to work at here in New England being a jacktard one Friday night after work. Sure is a humbling experience................................... Good thing the nurses (Who were female) were cute......

Nothing makes an ambulance ride better than a smokin' EMT in a 1-piece jump suit with the zipper pulled down low.

Totaled the car, crashed the bike and got thrown by a horse in a 24 hour period... in hindsight should have stayed home after the first one, or the second one.... but what fun would that be. Now nearly 2 decades later I can laugh about that day.

I've been part of this too. We were working on an old volvo in my driveway. It was part way out so the drivers door was in the frame of the garage. One person under the hood, one person at the front passenger side in the garage and me stuck in the car turning the key as it burst into flames. (good old 2 doors!) Guy standing next to the car in the garage freezes, guy in the driveway is 6'5" 245 lbs... He's not getting over the hood into the garage, I nascar climbed out of the car, pushed the guy standing next to the car out of the way of the fire extinguisher 2 feet behind him and tossed it over the car to the guy who was under the hood. It's scary shit when it happens. We were all in shock for a few after that.
