He did get chewed out a bit for it, but it looks like the admins/mods have forgiven him and let it slide.

Re: Teen accused of cutting off, hitting motorcyclist
I'm kinda concerned with Kingcast speaking for other motorcyclists due to this situation.

I'll put it here again....I was hoping for an answer to my question at least.
It was the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association that got those Boston parking spaces.

Note the following in the MMA announcement.
Other 2 wheeled activists tried to solve the parking situation in the courts and alienated the city of Boston at the cost to the taxpayer. The MMA has mended all those fences between the 2 wheeled community and the City by educating, not litigating!"
Maybe I should call some of my buddies from the MMA and find out if they know about Kingdouche.
Why is it not you standing in the press photo with the Mayor?
Oh yeah....Have a nice day!

Yea, can't imagine there's good communication skills there when he made 90% of a forum hate him in less than a day.

I understand that Kingcast is passionate about the issues of motorcyclists rights, as are many of us here at NESR. What concerns me is how his conduct at this hearing will shape the image of other motorcyclists. Anyone who's watched any of his past court-videos will see that he has a very confrontational style that sometimes isn't appreciated, even by those who agree with what Chris is fighting for.
If people see a man running around, cramming a camera in people's faces, all in the name of "motorcyclists rights." It may have a negative impact on our image as a whole.
Then again, the threats posted here, by other users, don't do much good for us either.
Do you want to further convey the stereotype that motorcyclists are barbaric? Or should we try and be more civil in our approach to help rectify this situation?
I'm gonna guess the latter.

-it was well documented and widely discussed throughout many motorcycle forums/organizations/chapters. even to a point where the father of the deceased, while drunk, chased down another motorist rolling through the same stoplight where his son was killed. the support of the community was and still is behind him, even though he had a lapse in reasoning and under the influence.
-again, these type of things happen everyday and everywhere. have any of y'all researched the fatality statistics of motorbike riders in a country like india? how 'bout a modern society such as italy? people be killed by the thousands every year, just a part of the risk by riding a motorbike.

You're right. Getting in someone's face about this will not help anything. Confrontation is the absolute WORST way to handle this particular situation.
I personally think a few emails/letters so people know this did go unnoticed and number of people on bikes for the hearing is the best way to handle it.
Burning the kid at the stake or demanding he be stoned to death will accomplish nothing.

I think that young man was already stoned to death being that it was 430 in the morning, no job, new car althewhile making a decision such as the one he made.
Oddly enough, him trying to block another motorist is not too far off the thread topic from a few weeks ago about people merging while others feel it is their duty to play citizen police officer.

Simple truth , this fucker is only interested in his own limelight and doesn't give a rats how he achieves his ends.
I'm not buying any of his feel good crap , I'm still pissed over his threatened lawsuit against the triumph motorcycle company.
we don't need more self serving assholes with shitty fucking lawsuits clogging up the courts and making shit more expensive in the end.

Any good merge stories lately?
:poke:
Not sure how else I could explain it. Blocking another motorist because that motorist feels it's their right to do such a thing....or perhaps to teach the "offending" motorist a lesson. The topics of the "merging traffic" thread as well as what this young man pulled aren't too far off one another. Regardless of what type of vehicle was doing the passing, one driver felt they needed to block another from occupying the space in front of them.
-
Re: Teen accused of cutting off, hitting motorcyclist
In your example BOTH drivers could be accused of being dicks. In this case it seems only one is a dick and one is innocent.

Like I said, in what logical fallacy candy land are you trying to equate not letting some one cut you off and striking another motorist? They are very far off except for people that want to try and draw the conclusion cause they fail to understand right of way.

Re: Teen accused of cutting off, hitting motorcyclist
It was mentioned earlier, but
"After telling the judge that he was out of work, she allowed him to keep his license so he could continue applying for jobs."
This absolutely floored me. I got pulled over doing 105 in a 65 in NH a year and a half ago and not only did I lose my license in NH, but I also lost it in MA for TWO MONTHS!! I couldnt even get a hardship license due to the way NH and MA laws are written (it was the equivalent of a DUI). You know what happened once I got my license back? I swore it would never happen again, why? Because I was punished for my action and learned my lesson. Now obviously he is up against some very serious charges, but seriously? This shit bag is allowed to keep his license after nearly killing someone and I get a fucking police escort to the border?!
I know what I did was stupid but reading stuff like this makes me want to drop kick babies... i mean, wait what?!
-
Re: Teen accused of cutting off, hitting motorcyclist
Oh yea the excuse he is looking for jobs was probably the most infuriating part. I tried to get a hardship license to take my mother to chemotherapy and they said I was not eligible to apply. Fucking bullshit... so angry about this and its not even noon

I wonder how different this thread would be if it were an 18yo biker/squid and an older driver?
I am probably alone in thinking this is being blown out of proportion.

Oh, oh....prepare to be HAMMERED. (and more bad news...I pretty much agree! Stupid kid. Stupid move. Freekin' lucky it didn't turn out worse. Should be punished and taught a lesson. Made an example of too. But if I were drawn and quartered for every stupid and dangerous thing I've ever done I'd be in very tiny little pieces!)

I agree... All I am saying is I was floored by letting him keep his license (for the time being) for assault and the cop practically wanted to haul me away for speeding.
I am going to go do burnouts in my work parking lot now in protest

Exactly. I have done stupid shit my whole life. More importantly I did it all between the ages of 16-22. Oddly enough it seems MOST people have problems around that age. And even more is that apparently NO ONE has ever learned a lesson when authority was less than strict.
Way way out of proportion.
Just my opinion.

People on NESR here, have an expensive hobby, which makes them bust their asses at work to support it. So they get royally pissed when they see an unemployed spoiled brat, tooling around in his parents brand new car and running a motorcyclist off the road who was just trying to get to work.
It's also on automotive forums all over the country so it's not just NESR that's blowing it out of proportion.
