I rode last Saturday. Logged on to the RMV to renew my Registration because mine was expired. E-Mail copy of renewal in pocket off I went. Glad I did.
can this be made into a poll?
I almost feel like there would be a parabola instead of a bell curve
I've been riding a little bit here and there lately. If it's over 35ish i'll take a quick spin. I even took my girl out onto a long stretch of road and allowed her to stretch her legs through 2,3 and into mid 4th.
Doesn't matter as long as I get some traction.
Dont you get nervous on cold wet roads? Or when there is snow on the road?
I'm with the Trader. To deliberately go out in rain makes no sense. If you're on a long trip, making the full-court press to get home, ya man up and ride (easy fer me to say with the ABS and Windshields and fairings, but still). Me, all I need is ice-free roads, 40 degrees and I'm out there, assuming it ain't rainin'.
I rode the dirt bike this morning already. Temps in the mid 20's, I'm guessing. Conditions were near perfect with the melted/refrozen snow base fully supporting the bike at most times. Speeds were above average, for me. My fingers and neck were cold, though. The mostly rocky trails are now smooth as pavement.
I don't ride New Chick unless it's dark out
I think we all need to start riding in whatever temperature it is right now.... :(
My naked situation deems it be a bit warmer, at the very least because I get cold easily, and being cold while riding sucks. Plus I'm not about to go out and buy $800 worth of cold weather riding gear with car/bike payments and starting school this fall.
Last season with no real cold weather gear other then a good pair of gloves anything below 45 was to much.
this season i'm investing in some gear and want to find a better cold weather tire, my piot power 2's did NOT like the cold roads. i cant put a number on it yet but i'll be riding where its cold lol
19 degrees out right now; I just got back from riding my V-Strom over to yesterdayze's garage to spoon on a new rear tire. Heading out for a longer ride tomorrow morning before the nasty weather rolls in.

for me it depends on my mood, some times I am up to face the cold for a nice couple of hours ride other times I don't want to deal with it.
New cold weather gloves + new sargent seat + new heated vest = I might ride tomorrow. Damn Mark, you're an inspiration! My new jacket won't show up until next week, so I think I'll try my full leathers with the rest of my warm gear to see how it holds up. If I freeze, I'll be sure to use my textile gear in the future.
local riding has become slalom thru the frost heaves in the paved roads, frozen icy gravel roads are smoother
Random note.. It's 5am and 48* outside. Fuck you winter!
I will ride when I feel like it, which often means that it is warm, sunny, and ideal conditions. On the other hand, I have ridden in a snowstorm because I had no functional car, and I have been caught in rain so bad I didn't think I would make it home. If given the choice, though, I am with Alex - riding is meant to be fun, and I don't have fun when I am cold and wet. I will deliberately go out in rain as long as it is hot out (90+), and I will deliberately go out in the cold (40-ish) if I know it will be getting over 60, otherwise, I like my car :)
I put 5 miles on on sunday!
115 miles yesterday. Beautiful day.

I'll ride once my driveway is passable again. It ices over really bad in the winter.I don't really care what the temp is.
For me, the roads must be clean and ideally temps should be above 50. That means I usually take her out past in march.
