like 60mpg, dry sump luberication, hydraulic valve lifters and belt drive and low HP for less rear tire wear is a bad thing. sounds to me like a bike that really is cheaper to own & operate than a cage

....... the above pictured bike has only a single caliper, you probably want the 1200 with dual front disks.....
The nightster has single front just so ya know, the "r" models come stock with duel disks i believe.
The XR1200 (above) is here btw, 750 for sale in US. I saw one at a harley shop down in naples, its very interesting to look at in person.

I want an xr1200. If Bubba Blackwell can jump 22 cars with one. It's gotta be good right?

I just wish the damn thing was lighter. It's a really cool bike, but it's beefy for being a "sporty" bike.

+1, the bike weighs 562lbs dry, which seems kind of insane. For comparison, the Monster 1100S weighs nearly 200 lbs less. The tiny gas tank which gives you like an 80 mile range also would probably get old pretty quickly.
I would like to test drive one though, supposedly it has a ton of low end torque.
