title issues

his lien is from suzuki so they probably have some big creditor bank or something??? But last payments been made just waiting for it to clear takes 2 buisness days, payment made friday so Im guessing monady or tuesday it'll be paid, possibly tuesday the title should be ready for pprocessing. Hopefully the seller can find a way to ship it faster or what have you.

To all the NH people In mass to register you have to have proof of insurance. To obtain insurance you need proof of ownership. So registering it all begins with just getting it insured

Sounds like Mass is a pain in the ass!

FWIW-many dealerships use local banks. I've never seen financing directly from a manufacturer. It's usually some local place, once in a while a larger corporation-type. But usually local...

This is a little off topic, but I'm buying a bike from a guy with a lein on it and this is what we're doing... just FYI, this was news to me and I've bought plenty of vehicles before.

We called his credit union (local) gave them the account information (VIN, etc) and they ordered a paper version of the title. The title takes about a week to come in and they put it in his file. Tomorrow we go down there. I have two cashiers checks (if the funds aren't guaranteed they can't release the title). One made out to the credit union and him (the payoff) and one check just to him. In the Credit Union, I will pay him and pay off the lein, and we will transfer the title to myself.

This is the only way I'm comfortable making this kind of transaction, and I'm very glad it works this way.

Any luck Murphy? Hope you get that stupid piece of paper before Saturday so you can get that SV out on the road and warm dem tires.

Meh..... Payments made so title is in processing now, i figure a week or two, SO goes the wait.

But speaking of tires I do need a tire, recommend any shops around the weymouth, quincy, braintree etc. area or do you guys normally order them online and then have some one mount it?

Anyways I have a worn 120/60 michilen pilot ("road" I think) SOme one told me to put a 120/70 on?
