A little birdie told me Manchester CT honda KTM is getting out of the game so deals may be available there. The owner just retired last week. My neighbors have scooped up a few 150s already.

I just picked up a cx5 in October…have not even used the app…I think they give you a 3 year trial and then it costs you $10/month...it's one of those things that i didn't have on my previous car so i'm not really missing anything on this new car...remote start, lock/unlock, hazard lights, panic button, oil amount, mileage till next service, fuel amount, odometer reading, etc...i personally don't find any of this necessary and def not going to pay $120/year for it

Sadly they are an easy-breezy 6 hour drive from me!

Sounds like I should avoid. Although I see they have a couple 350 dual-sports's in inventory and are advertising ~$4k off. Inventory has '25 500's too.. but those are "call for price".

Cx5 has a one year trial. The cx70 has a 3 year because it's selling so poorly.

Make a day out of it. BT's smokehouse is nearby and on the way. That alone is worth the trip

    interesting new development...
Lewis Hamilton holds ‘concrete talks’ with manufacturer battling €3 billion debt
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/oth...bdc4fff7&ei=15
Lewis Hamilton has held “concrete discussions” with the debt-ridden Austrian manufacturer KTM.

That is the claim made by KTM motorsport director Pit Beirer, as the outfit battle to ensure their place on the MotoGP grid for 2025.

Lewis Hamilton to link-up with KTM?

KTM – a part of the MotoGP grid since 2017 – is currently experiencing severe financial issues with a reported debt of €3billion, but could Lewis Hamilton emerge as a saviour for the Red Bull-sponsored team?

According to Beirer, as KTM engage with potential sponsors and investors, “concrete discussions” have been held with seven-time F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton, a known admirer of motorcycles and the racing scene.
“All I can say is that we have had very interesting discussions with his management,” Beirer confirmed to Speedweek.

“It is no secret that Lewis Hamilton is interested in MotoGP and is thinking about having his own team. There are concrete discussions here too.

“The current situation is making us creative and open to new discussions. So we are not only open to sponsors, as has been the case so far, but also to investors.”

However, if Hamilton were to become involved as a KTM investor or sponsor, then he has been warned that he would need to work alongside Red Bull.

Hamilton is well-accustomed to Red Bull via F1, with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen having risen to end Hamilton’s dominance of the sport in 2021, that a year where tensions reached boiling point between Red Bull and Hamilton’s Mercedes team at the time.

“Anyone who wants to work with us knows about the proximity – Red Bull and KTM are inseparable,” Beirer stressed. “That has not been an issue in the negotiations so far.”
interesting to see what come of this, sounds like perhaps his own MotoGP team...

Re: Tough times for KTM - parent company facing bankruptcy?

There was an article recently about how screwed KTM really is. They have something like 250,000 units in surplus that haven't been sold yet and many are leftovers from multiple years ago. That's more than manufacturers like Harley sells in a year. Those unsold units are what will sink the company. They gave already stopped production on the 2025 models in the hopes people buy all the old ones in stock. I don't see how they can get out of this cleanly.

They had a small one just before Christmas...some serious deals to be had if you looked. They rolled those back i suspect to make the brand more appealing to a buyer after the new year. It's hard to sell a company when your offering 30% off every model lol.

Bajaj to Acquire KTM - Stefan Pierer completely exiting KTM’s leadership in June

Bajaj Auto is acquiring Pierer Industries’ stake in the parent company of KTM, Husqvarna, and Gas Gas, in a deal estimated to be worth €800 million (US$901.8 million) and is expected to be completed by May 2026 (pending regulatory approval, of course).
