Every couple of months I watch it again to check out the new ones and think about the fact that my biggest adventure is whether to wear black shoes or brown.

Every time I visit that site I feel as though I've accomplished jack shit on a bike. Read through some of the ride reports, pretty amazing stuff.

The guy who started Advrider owns Smugmug, so there's a lot more photographic emphasis there. Where else [answer: nowhere] could you find 58 pages of pictures of V-Stroms off-road? My personal favorite:


Personally I think the Faceplant forum is awesome - you can learn a lot from it.

I also like the Shiny Things forum, which covers anything from watches and cars to helicopters, boats and generators....

ADVRider is an amazing place to lose 1-3 hours (or more). The stories and pictorials on there are amazing. It makes me feel like I've done nothing good on my bike, ever.
