Each bike will complete about 10K miles before returning to Hinkley for last minute changes - updates. This particular bike came from England, through Germany and Italy, Greece, Turkey, Greece again and is returning through the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
The dealer reports having ridden the bike both on and off road and reports excellent handling on the dirt and very decent on the road (main con on the road its 21inch front wheel). Very reponsive engine, 95PS factory rated.
Expected price in Greece about 9500-10000 Euro for the non-ABS models making them cheaper than the BMW GS800. The ABS models will come later in 2011. Prices in the UK should be somewhat lower judging from other models (as a comparison the 1050 Tiger ABS costs here the better part of Euro 13000).
Other info: Reportedly somewhat lighter and slightly thinner than the 1050. Seat(s) adjustable in three positions for +- 1 cm. Showa adjustable USDs. Silver painted frame. This particular bike required tubed tyres. About 400 (??!!!) accessories and custom rider gear to be announced for the series (maybe that should read 40?).
