Nice job getting your horizontal cylinder and lower exhaust muddy for the pics![]()
Figures u'd pick up on the dirt on the pipes. Do you know I must have beeen going 1 mph outta my driveway so that shit wouldn't happen. I even took a rag ta wipe shit off just in case.
When I finally get my DP clutch cover I think I will chrome that too. Who knows I may have a different bike by the time I get it.
It felt soooooooooooooooo good ta ride again. When I took off ta bring it home I wagged the tail a bit. I forgot that the tire was loaded with sand. Woooooosh. Ta top it off there was some snatch walking up the road as I was taking off. That would sure look dumb if I lost it.
All in all I think it came out pretty nice. None of the pictures do justice.
I think my Monster has turned into a sexy beast!![]()
I really love this bike! Its the best.

Too many toys, not enough time.
Thanks Chris,
I shot you the E-Mail before I got the price ta chrome the muffler system. Just for the catalytic converter section it wooda cost $800.00. So, I decided ta have em ceramic coated at Airborn in CT. The finish seems to be pretty durable.

Bike looks awesome wayne - it was a sexy machine from the start and now it's even more so - nice work! enjoy!![]()
I'm officially throwing in the towel in the Bling war. I need to start saving money like a responsible adult. Besides, I could never top you guys with everything you've done with your bikes.Originally posted by Sideshow

The Bling battle continues.............................
I got a bit screwed on my last bike (Ducati 996S). I bought it with about $8,000 invested in bling parts and paint and when I wrecked the bike, I got maybe an extra $800 covered over the value of the bike stock. Keep in mind that I had custom parts coverage on my insurance to cover up to $5,000 in parts.
I can't wait for spring to get back riding![]()

Thats it for me too.
New carbon tail
DP clutch plate
Termi kit w/ cams
I've done all my bank account can handle.
Not to mention insurance renew in Spring.
Thats going to be the killer!!!

I don't know how much new bling I will be able to add to my bike, this year, as I will need to have the 12K valve adjustment done. So, the only 'semi-blingy' parts that I will definitely do will be new rearsets. So, guess what Wayne, YOU WIN!!!! And, I will have to just deal with those little scratches on the tail section and lower fairings. That's OK, because nobody can see that stuff as we're carving up the twisties. C'MON spring.................
I got the itch real bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, what about a new helmet Wayne???? Do you wanna buy one of mine? I have two different AGV Rossi replicas that I would be willing to part with at a reasonable price for ya.....![]()

I really think it's a draw. Sides I can't ride worth a shit so the bike has ta sorta look good. I like what Chris and Tim have done to their bikes. The red pressure plate and clutch cover Tim added is a real eye catcher. I did my best ta get him to go with the gold one so it wouldn't look so hot. Oh well.Originally posted by lrrs167
