great video for the vintage enthusiasts

This was making the rounds on the interwebs a few weeks ago, but I finally watched it today. Well worth the hour investment!

tl;dr, dude finds and resurrects his dad's old cb450 race bike and races it at Barber.

Yes! I should have mentioned that part. Who knows the guy that owns that barn? They also never mentioned where the family is from, but I got the sense that they were local.

Alot of back woods garages around the lake's region. Driving for NAPA I am amazed at all the gear heads/collectors up around here.

Zack and Ari are locals, they used to race with LRRS and USCRA.

Fantastic vid. Finally getting around to watching it now, it's a great watch.

The video where they rode Zach's dad's sidecar racer up to Canada or something to race it was also awesome.

EDIT: Absolutely... stellar... That was so much more than I expected. Thanks for posting up & reminding me to go back & watch it.

Hahah - I had decent expectations and had the tab open on my computer for like 2 weeks, and had the same reaction when I finally watched it

Was watching while preping dinner for my girls. About half way through dinner was done and I tried to get my eldest to watch the rest with me. While she found it amusing that they started a motorcycle in a moving school bus, there wasn't much interest beyond that. She declared it "boring" and left. Bah.

Me. I damned near cried by the end.

Their best video yet. And that is saying something.

I skimmed ity, plan to actually watch it later. The part where they were assembling on the fresh black from of an old Honda definitely felt familiar....

I've been on a work trip this week with seemingly endless time to kill, so I've been on a deep dive, watching tons of their Common Thread videos. They're awesome. I'm now embarrassed to admit I've never seen these guys before.

Also queue up their other work. Zach's daily rider. Ari's shop manual. Etc. Etc. The CT90 ASMR video was enjoyable AF. Zach's return home and ride/review of his dad's R80GS. Such good entertainment.
