Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
you should have looked to see what kind of car she was driving and plopped your ass right on it, dent it, walk away....maybe then ask her if you could sit on it
I'd say that woman was a total ignorant fuck, it's common sense that you ask permission for something like that. If the owner isn't around you should just look and not touch. I have an older bike but if I saw someone sticking their kid on it without my permission I'd turn into a total C-U-Next-Tuesday.

Bad mother. I remember being a kid and going into a store with fragile items. I was always directed to "put hands to the side"
Never would this have been allowed.
yeah i cant see how people think a bike is an open invitation to sit, really climbs up my ass, theres one big rule with a motorcycle never sit without asking, and never ask to ride it without bein offered in my opinion, ive had one teenager sit on my bike,(that i know of) i simply said, do you want the payments? then get the fuck off of it, he moved pretty quick. Nobody has respect for others property anymore if its not yours dont touch no matter what it is, i just dont get whats so hard
My dad taught me when I was young to look with my eyes not my hands. I have told my son the same thing. I would not have been polite to this "mom".
Huumm...
Kid wants to make vroom vroom sounds while sitting on a cool bike and his parent thinks it's all good to let him climb on up.
If poor judgement is demonstrated by the parent in allowing the child to sit on the bike then whatever words escape your mouth while approaching this situation to explain your point of view may fall upon deaf ears.
Perhaps they used poor judgement and you treasure your bike more than most. If the parent is a genuine "plank" then WTF? IMO, making a scene will likely stress you out and turn you into the "ogre" that mom had to deal with. Just say'n.
Still, I would not want strangers sitting on my bike either.

As others said it's no different than you sitting in someones car without their permission. If it happens you first ask them if they'd be upset if you were sitting in their car when they came back outside. Normal people would see the logic. If not curse them out.
Both my 450lb+ motorcycles have kickstands that are fairly flimsy and loose.
"He/she won't do that again"
Problem solved.

I walked out of my dorm last year to find some punkass dude sitting on my bike revving the throttle, bike was off, but still. I confronted him and he got in my face about it... told me "if it was on the sidewalk it was his because he runs these streets".
It escalated kinda quickly and led to me hitting him with my helmet. Needless to say, I took that one a tad too far. If he was 5 I probably would have toned it down a little, but just a little.
Just some dumbass
Exactly. I have no problem showing my bike off, especially to kids. As I said before, it would be like hopping in their car without permission. The biggest difference is, they have the ability to lock it all up so people can't do that. If a mom/dad/teen were to ask if it was okay to sit on (or have their kid placed on) my bike, I would most likely say sure, as long as they were willing to incur the cost of any damage caused by kicking feet/falling over. When you can have a conversation about it, things change. Unfortunately, the ones who would ask, are the ones who most likely will not, because they see it as a vehicle and don't see that as appropriate.

If you run into a wall with a helmet on, you still ran into a wall.
I've had good experiences with a responsible parent asking if it was ok if junior could sit on the bike. I was more than happy to lift the kid and put him/her on...after I first checked for any metal stuff on 'em first! (buckle, etc.) One kid...he also was around five...he leaned forward across the tank, barely reaching the grips....the look on his face was priceless...big smile...you could tell it was the highlight of his day.![]()
is the mom cute? then there would be no problem because i'd try to hit on her.
not single mom? i dont mind if you dont mind.
