I'd like to get a contact at a dealer, not just a dealer. My boss REALLY would like to get on the list for the new Steve McQueen Triumph. I am thinking this is a far shot, but would like to try and get a spot.

I dealt with Nic at Second Wind and he was great to deal with. I know others have had positive experiences with him as wellOriginally Posted by Falko
Bill @ Performance Cycles in Shrewsbury told me they were trying to get one.
Second for Nic at Secondwind . Yes Seacoast is only eyetalian motor sickles .
Performance Cycles could not have put LESS effort into getting me on a bike when I was shopping back in the fall of '07. I literally lived 10 minutes away, was in there frequently prior to this for parts, accessories, browsing the new bikes, etc. I walked in ready to sign paperwork on a brand new 675 and they couldn't give a shit. I went over an hour away to Second Wind on the reccomendation of someone and couldn't have been happier. I have not set foot in Performance Cycles since.
JohnnyV, sorry you had a bad experience there. I've been in less than 5 times and they know me by name and always give me the answers and info I need, and I haven't even bought anything from them as of yet. Maybe you got em on a bad day?

I chaulked it up to what I have gotten from car dealers as well, and it is unfortunate. I feel that often times middle aged salesmen often times see a early to mid 20's person walk onto a showroom and they automatically assume they're not a serious shopper. I work hard for my money and know what I can afford and what I can't, and time and time again I had been treated as a window shopper at best who wasn't worth the effort.

It's the secret redneck code for Lunenburg. But now that you know...
So you're pretty close to Second Wind. I've heard nothing but good things about them. Funny thing is, I stopped in there twice last year on my Triumph and was thoroughly ignored, except by the BMW salesman. Must have caught everyone else on a bad day, well, two bad days.

And don't believe everything you think.
My parents had a lake house in 'bama, sold it a few years back. I'm still pissed about that little transaction...
