I'd be willing to bet, if you don't say anything, no one will notice. They're focusing on the track and screwing off, not what them funny scribbles you have on the side of your bike mean.

If anything it is a handicap since there is no way I can use all that power.

So I think I have the bright idea to try and commit to the 6 week series.

Kurlon- What should I be thinking of for a basic set up to run on concrete?

I am running TT92's, what is a good starting air pressure?

I am also thinking of dropping the forks lower in the triples for quicker turn in and since top speed stability isn't really going to be an issue with that track it shouldn't hurt.

Its not the speed that kills, its the sudden stops!

I don't think they will allow 2-strokes. I think I asked Kurlon about that last year when I wanted to run my KX60.

I have not seen any mention of a kids only class, but they may allow them to run in the regular class. You should probally contact them directly for an answer on that.

TT92s - Start at 20psi, then work UP. They will be sketchy as all hell for the first lap or three, then come into it as they warm up. You can go lower on the pressure for a more predictable warm up, but you loose feeling and absolute grip once they are up to temp compared to higher pressures.

2 strokes - Not allowed, the ventilation is working overtime with our 4s minis as it is. Also, NO RACE GAS! The Canadians are the worst offenders on that one... hard to see when you're crying a river from the fumes...

Kids - If there are enough to justify a separate group I'm sure they'll do it. Otherwise, they get lumped in with us adults, in which case the kid should be competent on their machine and you should be ok with them potentially getting piled up at 50mph with concrete and hard barriers. We've had a couple kids run with us in the past that did really well.

Unless it's on a tiny frame it won't make the infield turns.

Oh, and the rules say horizontal single sooooo... you'll have to convince the crew at MIK to let it run, not me. : )

Heh, 12" conversions on XR200s and CRF150Rs are pretty common for outdoor short track duty...

But WAY too big for MIK.

If you have an XR200 shoved in a YSR50... SCHAWEET! Turning radius on that bad larry is much too big for MIK though. I've raced against XR100/150 sporting YSR50s, great on open tracks, tighten it up and even compared to my 48" wheelbase they just can't turn.

Doubtful. Mini is back-burnered behind my KTM, which is back-burnered behind a much bigger project... I dunno if I'll even have a bike together for LRRS in April let alone mini racing this winter.

    Hey all,

Check out our website for all the specifics on the Motard racing coming in January-February. Send along any questions. I've been getting quite a bit of positive response and am hoping for a good turn out this year!
