Very nice effort on the CF bits. It's hard to tell how the surface will look. It's hard to clear carbon because it's so not flat... Is that a full gas tank cover? Are you painting, then covering the tank?

Without a Full System you'll only be pushing in the 30's.


It doesn't even really matter.....these things are so strong....... The Exup is nice to have while tooling around town.

hey hoser, i have on there now a jardin. wich will be replaced BEFORE spring withe the hole shot full high mount system, its just not on there WRIGHT now ya putz. must be old man cataracts or alls-himers (is that spelled wright?)
man and i thought old guys were suposed to ride 900rr's

and as for the bag, damn thats a good eye , but its my wifes
had to look at the pics three times to find it

sanded, acetone, spray adhesive, lay the carbon/kevlar (its hard to see the blue kevlar in the pic) cover with epoxy, then im still need to sand re-epoxy then clear coat

yeah i know i just love bustin your balls and i don't wanna mention one of the two that i could barley see as i tried to keep up. but in my defense you did see the stock suspension on my fizza im surprised i stayed on the rode with a rear shock set up for a 7lbs rider AND bent forks, triple clamps and under sprung WITH jap air in the tubes, plus not jetted plus i suck at riding ok im done...no wait both of the two front riders bikes were DONE

and thanks on the camera, i left the battery's out to long and didn't reset it

Nope, no powder coated frame this year, i am having my wheels done by Gcastor as we type, I have to much money and time going into other things so the frame will have to wait till next winter.. I'm in the middle of doing Afull Yoshi rs-3 system with carbon cans , Bitubo rear race shock, new sprocket and chain one down front one up back 16/40 .. tail risers , new Power commander (thats a long story) Gipro TRE with gear indicator, Mich PP 2CT's, Vandrivers Rear Reservior.. and maybe some other small tidbits if $$ allows.. but i got another little monster due in early May so i doubt i will get much more then that this year.. Other then custom Map for PC and have my suspension adjusted for my Fat ass...

Well, I thought I was going to have Peter do the whole shebang on my forks (revalve and respring), but as luck would have it, my 145K Jeep is in serious need of front suspension work, so there goes some of my bike maintenance money this year.

So, I'm just having him do regular fork maintenance (oil & seals), as well as, rear shock maintenance, a new clutch (Barmett plates & Vesrah springs), new brakes (Vesrah, for Joe's question in the other thread), SS brake lines, and valve & CCT maintenance.

No, I have never met you personally but I live in Westborough and always see your bike parked at your place and always seems like you do a ton of wrenching yourself which I love to see. I rode a GSXR Telefonica this past summer, my dad rides an R1100RT and my brother a '96 FZR600 so chances are you've seen at least one of us more than once at some point.

Yea the kid in red leathers over in the abandoned parking lot across from the train station is my brother, who was most likely practicing wheelies. And yes I sold the Telefonica to pay some bills off this winter and will be picking up another bike this spring. My dad's got the gray R1100RT who will rarely be seen NOT wearing his full Vanson leathers. And I'll be sure to stop by sometime this spring when I'm on a new rig.

Thats pretty funny......I was going to mention wheelies. He was actually doing pretty well, plus I was impressed a kid his age had Full Leathers. Good thing your father is experienced......it saves you guys allot of time and pain in the learning curve.

When you get the bike....stop by any time. If you see me outside before that time, stop and introduce yourself.

Will do... yea he is a pretty fearless kid, if that was 2 years ago you should see him now(and on the same bike). Him doin' 2nd gear standups on that thing is an impressive thing to see. Right now I'm just workin' on an old DS80 to pass the winter, putting way too much time into it for such a cheap old beater bike, but I'll see what I end up with come spring.
