is the air dirty? getting dirt/dust in eyes

It seems like lately, every time I ride to work, I get some dust spec in my eyes, seconds after I put the visor up. Sometimes it's so bad that I have to pull over and tear it out.

Is the air particularly dirty this time of year?

    Is anyone else noticing this?

I wear prescription glasses under my visor, have been using the same HJC CS-12 from last season, and never had this problem.

yup, stupid pollen in the air, it's bad. I also have a black car (and my bike), it drives me nuts to see both my babies covered with the stuff. It does the same thing to my eyes as soon as I walk outside.

The same thing is happening to me. I have just been wearing sunglasses. Seems to help a bit. My eyes are still itchy as hell, damn allergies!

Kew, I thought it was just me having that issue. It was really bad for me during the holiday weekend. At times I was forced to ride cyclops style.
