TONS of wrecked bikes
But when we ride very fast motorcycles, we ride with immaculate sanity. We might abuse a substance here and there, but only when it's right. The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. If you go slow and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.
At the track.
Best cheapest way: wait till a squid wrecks and parent force the sale.
Generally keep sniffing around; friends, dealerships, wantadvertiser, moto boards, etc.
I have found: you can get what you want right away but it will cost ya. Wait a while, do your homework, but be prepared to jump if an opportunity comes up. Taking your time will net a better deal.

why do you want a wrecked bike ? Well , if you just want a frame so you can change out your f4i parts, they sell clean frames on ebay with titles.
ah yes. thanks

Stay away from Argo Cycles! I have yet to hear ANYTHING good about them...
Explain why you want a trashed bike. Maybe that can help us help you find what you're looking for...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
well ok. you remember my title issue for that cbr600 2002 is still not resolve and i can't have another loan for a new bike. so i'm thinking if i could get a wreck same year model with title but CHEAP, around $1k, and transfer everything to there then ill have a bike to ride this summer.
"fuckit!"
If you don't have a title for the 'donor' bike, wouldn't that *ALMOST* be the same as stealing a bike and stripping it down? Don't know if I just explained that correctly...![]()

thats why i stay old
dont want no hot shit
you can steel the old stuff figureitivly speeking
but it still could b hot when it comes down 2 it![]()
when ya think of it it could b hot even new from the dealer
seen a buddy get a used bike from a dealer turned up hot![]()
No, no, no. What I mean is: If you take all the parts off a bike you HAVE, but DON'T HAVE the title for said bike, then in effect you're 'stealing' those parts. My reasoning is such that the untitled bike isn't yours in the eye of the law...

Hmm , On stuntlife they got clean title frames for sale you should go check there.
I think what stoneman is trying to say is, if you end up in court and somehow it comes to the judge's attention that the VIN numbers on the disputed bike no longer match...and he asks you why, and you say "Oh, I stripped the bike and put the parts on a salvage title bike so I could register it and ride it around"....This is not gonna look good for youOriginally posted by Kham

Argo Cycles has a bunch. I know several people who have rebuilt or used those bikes for parts.I have been able to pick up misc. parts for my bike(s) in perfect condition much cheaper than factory.
I would maybe rethink your plan though, you might run into problems

Oh yeah, perjury is a great idea. Listen, right now, you've got a great case against the bastard. Don't fuck yourself over by doing something stupid. Yeah, I'm sure it sucks not to have a bike, but this isn't the way out.Originally posted by Kham

no? any other objections?

Oh my, this is still going on? If you had only listened to the advice given way back when there was still snow on the ground and filed with the DMV, you'd prolly have your title, or at least resolved the problem.
Seeings how you're afraid to use the legal system, you may want to start considering revengful tactics![]()

Just to put in my .02 cents. I am going through the salvage title process for Ninjachic's bike that I rebuilt for her. It takes a couple months to get the paperwork processed and the inspection done. They are going to want to see the vin number for every part that you installed on the bike. If they see were you got the part from then you could run into some problems. Especially since you are going through legal issues with that vin.
