Lock your shit up tight people!

Remember last year right before bike week? Yep, the week that I got my GSXR stolen the same night my bud lost his R6. Cop said that it happens all the time before bike week. Insurance Co. said that the No.1 thing that will keep the thieves away is (besides a locked gerage) a cover. No shit. They want to see what they are stealing and if you have it covered it's too much of a hastle. Lock the cover and get a disc lock and an alarm. My baby is hidden away in a friend's erage behind a Ducatti and a H.D. Covered. Locked. Safe.

IMHO the best theft deterent is a dirty bike... if it looks like a POS who will want to steal it

That's too bad. Randy's strategy for deterring thieves happens to fit perfectly with my strategy of being cheap and lazy

all of the above plus, a locked garage, a bike alarm and a minimum of 10 rounds in the clip.

Well, that won't actually keep your bike from getting stolen. What it will get you in a month (the amount of time it takes to get the bike "declared" stolen by the insurance CO.) is a 6-8 week wait for a check. Just in tme to get a Snowmobile, but won't make a great riding season! Just be aware guys.

The kids steal them to ride up to bike week. the pros steal them to sell the parts at the swap meets, and racers steal them to race. (don't get all bent out of shape LRRS: I'm just letting you know what the detectives up there told me).

This is PRIME TIME to get your bike nicked.

Naaah, just get a cover that says "KATANA" on it. I guarantee no one will touch it .

HAH, you guys crack me up

currently i have jack shit on my bike other than the bar lock. I think i'm gonna start taking the cover when i bring her to work. At least when it's at work she's either on a traffic island in the middle of a busy intersetion w/ like 5-10 other bikes around it or across the street from a fellow security guard & camera #23 w/ me looking at the monitor
