Are we doing an official count on this ride?
Everyone knows its really bad form to talk about the weather before a ride so I hope no one will point out that, if you were to post up the current reports, that it's supposed to be 62 and mostly sunny. Cus it would really suck if someone did that and jinxed this ride...
Hm - Saturday :( will try.
I think you can count me in!
For those so equipped, Channel 4 on Chatterbox!
you gonna rock the Thruxton Ken?
Blues Skies!
Tomorrow's weather!! Blast any JINX!
:sad2: Have fun, guys!
Check my FB/CE post lol but I will most likely be there, I took some preventative measures last night to help me be good tonight. :shredder:
I'm a weak man Mark..but I will be there :naughty
Looks good for me
That was a great ride.
A touch tire-ing :teehee:
Thanks Dave! Great ride today.......
Nice seeing the usuals and a few new faces.
Even dirt roads and multiple flat fixing.
I now know what kind of tire repair kit to carry! :teehee:
Yup..It was tire-ing. First flat I have ever had in 40 years of riding. The first mushroom type plug didn't work, but the second try with the gummy worm did the trick. Made it back to Epping without incident. Thanks to everyone for the help and patience waiting for me. Also a special thanks to the guy on the orange SV from Exeter that stayed with me all the way to my exit on 101.
Also thanks to Dave and his pump, and the guy with the gummy worm plugs...I owe ya.
great ride.
great day in general...even with the tire issues.
Dave, I figured I would buy you breakfast since I was the one that posted (season opener) the suggestion that we buy the group leader lunch.
Thanks for the great ride.
Can someone please post the tire plugs that were used, i have the rope type and a slime pump. But if there is a better plug I would like to carry it. thanks!
Just reading online about the mushroom plug type (the first one we tried that failed). It seems that you NEED to use some pliers to pull the plug back so it fits tight. We didn't do that step, so it may be why it failed???
I also looked online and found that pump that Dave had. I really liked the way it worked. Found it here:

Lots of other cool stuff there as well. Breaking out the credit card soon. :)
