Re: 2012 Seacoast Ride Schedule
This looks great, and I will plan to attend several of them.
DucDave, you wouldn't happen to be any relation to a Joe Michaud, who hails from somewhere up here but has lived in San Diego for many years, would you? He's got an ST3 Duc, and some old Triumphs, etc.

Other than being on the same rung of the evolutionary ladder, probably not. Michaud's are a pretty common creature though more so around here than in San Diego! Look forward to meeting you!

Re: 2012 Seacoast Ride Schedule
Daks Ride -September
This is a 3 day, 2 night ride though VT and NY. Total of 10 riders! We will go as long as it looks like we have at least a 50% chance of 50% good weather!
I believe the following have PM'd their interest:
Dave Michaud
Greg Hall
Sam Darcy
Vicki Gaudreau
Ken Bourque
Jenn
Jesse
If you want on the list send me PM. Include youre real email address, real name too. And a phone number!

My 848 only gets about 100 miles until the reserve light and I usually go another 20 miles on that. I am planning on attending some of these rides. But I did a ride with about 50 other bikes to the Curtis BBQ place in putney and about 3/4 of the people threw the food away after a few bites. So I will skip that one.

Only took me about 2 weeks to figure out that the Harley was a big mistake! I owned it for just under 3 months and I took a $6,000 loss, but I am happy with the BMW, and that's what counts.

I'm in for that group.
Seriously, I assume the pace is toned down given that it's a Seacoast ride. Correct?

FYI, a likely route in Garmin Format can be found here.
This isn't a camping trip so make sure this ride is what you're looking for! We will stay 2 nights at the Crowne Plaza in Lake Placid. I've stayed here 3 or 4 times and it's really nice, on the hill overlooking Mirror Lake and easy walking to the Olympic Ice Rink, Olympic Drive and great choices for eating! I haven't booked any rooms yet and may be able to improve on the price but for planning purposes you can expect to pay $175.00 / night double occupancy. I'm not a travel agent and I want to be clear I'm not making any money on this gig!
The following list is where we stand on March 1st. If you are confirmed and decide you can't make it please let me know so I can inform the folks on standby:
Dave Michaud CONFIRMED
Greg Hall CONFIRMED
Sam Darcy CONFIRMED
Vicki Gaudreau CONFIRMED
Ken Bourque CONFIRMED
Jenn CONFIRMED
Trey Jones CONFIRMED
Jeff Botto CONFIRMED
Tom Levergood CONFIRMED
Guy Giroux CONFIRMED
Srikar STANDBY
Tim Finnigan STANDBY
Thanks,
Dave
