Alright i'll be there.
The roads out here aren't bad, I'll keep my eyes peeled when I'm out and around 116 today![]()
R1
for anyone that couldn't make this ride, so early after a night of drinkin' hit me up I'll be riding 401-497-4447 eddie, located out of Providence
A bit bummed I couldn't make this ride. I had my son this weekend. At least I got out for a little while yesterday while my wife and son went to ride the horse.
I'm also toying with new suspension settings that someone on the RRZone forum suggested for someone my size who rides 2-up on occasion.
We'll see. I don't have my son next weekend and have both days free (except Sunday evening), so I'd be up for something. Need to break in the new leather pants too. I've also been breaking in the new gloves I got off of Steve, since my first ride with them was a bit uncomfortable.
Video of the cute girl at shooters right?
It was a great ride Kurt and thanks for leading. Nice seeing everybody again as well as few new guys. What a great way to start off the season. We have to setup a few more rides. Steve, thanks for lunch. You have to let me buy you some beers sometime.
Here are the pics I took.

I had a good day of riding today. It was good to just get out and ride. Looking foward to more of the same. (minus the sand) (and the gigantic pothole that ate me)
Thanks everyone. Nice to meet and make some new friends. I'm down for another anytime.
BIG thanks for lunch!!!!
something tells me Steve isn't going to go hungry or thursty on ny of the seasons rides.
See you all soon!!
Thanks for lunch Steve!!! James, thanks for the sand!!!!
Ah shit you mean I missed a free lunch? Anyways it was a great first group ride even though it was a bit sandy out there, shoulda put the knobbies on. We should def do a ride up to vermont this summer.
Just make sure Kurt gets a gps that works this time![]()

You guys are welcome for lunch... anytime.
Alex I'll take you up on that offer! Nice pics.
Kurt thanks for leading again and making me dizzy as usual. LOL. James thanks for the romp in the sandbox.
James get that video up i want to see how well you handled the sand. LOL.
Great riding with you guys today and meeting some new and "not so new" people. Gotta do it again.
The ride was perfect the scenery was perfect {ahhem Billy} went home caught two AMA Races and MotoGP Race... Second win for Stoner. I'm sure Rossi will be having a word with Michelin Tires. It just don't get any better than that. Great day I'll go to bed with a stiffy tonight.![]()

Yea I just watched the races too. Barber is a beautiful track.
The sand was to teach you all some bike controlAt least you all had the luxury of seeing someone else hit it before you. I wasnt as lucky. I watched some of the video. Its pretty good but not great. Its going to take me a bit to edit the one at the start where I was on the tail but Im going to try and have the one of me leading up very soon.
I didnt see the races but Im promise you seeing Barber on tv doesnt do the facility justice. It is simply awesome.

Just got back. I had to do another ride back to Cape (with my friends that were waiting at Shooters ) after lunchWe took pretty much the same roads except the one with sand. On the way back we took 105. The guys really liked it. And since we had a smaller group (4), we were moving a bit faster. It seemed to be much less traffic on 105 in afternoon, so that was good. Definately enjoyed today's ride! Thanks Kurt and James for leading!
BTW, How come I didn't get free lunch Steve? Did I leave too early?) Just kiddin
