    I GOT BUGGED

    Has this ever happened to you?

    I was screaming up 495 when the visor on my Arai signet came loose, I turned my head slightly to the left to adjust it and BAM the wind ripped it right off the helmet before I even got a hand off the bar.
    Was kind of funny at first but the ride home after that was shit man. It was as though there was a giant funnel scooping up bugs and delivering them right into the eye port. Hmm b etter get that replaced pronto!!!

    I had the same issue with my Arai helmet, though I never lost the shield. If I didn't have the shield locked down, every time I turned my head at highway speeds, the shield would open. How'd the bugs taste?

    You know Tim it was my own fualt the sheild had broken some time ago, (the fourth smoke sheild I might add) so I knew I needed to replace it. Before I got on 495 I noticed the right side had come out and was too lazy to stop and fix it.

    Some of those bugs were really small birds man.


    PS your avatar pic reminds me of my parents place in NH. where is that of any way??

    My sheild has never ripped off....but, last night I went for a quick rip since I did not get to ride all weekend and in a matter of an hour I was so covered in bugs I could not even see where I was going and my lovely sweatshirt was well...disgusting :WTF
