April 3rd SATURDAY open season ride..(rescheduled March 28th ride)

Yep, that very well could've been me. I spent all day riding by myself with the exception of running into the group on 116 somewhere between 4 and 5pm. I was all over western MA and VT...black '03 ninja, flat black helmet, white-ish/gray jacket.

Yeah we saw that 636R .we had another Silver one on the ride too ,116 first time on that road and not the last ,just sux that I live 2.5 hours away .

Everyone makes it out to be a nice road but idk wasnt all it was cracked up to be. Well not after the ride i did i guess, good way to finish it off though. Im gonna plan a ride for next weekend or the one after see how the weather is so i can break in my new tires.

Yea i think it was you. I went down rt9 in vt then down rt7 to get on rt2. That section i did was just pure heaven, i thought 116 was too tight and too bumpy. It wasnt bad, just go a few miles more down rt8a and get on rt2 and its 10x better.

That was most likely me...I spent some time out on RT 7 and 9. I kinda just did a big loop...went from 116, 112, rt 2, to 7, to 9, to 100/112, and back down to 116 when I came across the group.

Yeah, it sucks trying to make it to these rides while living farther away. I'm just in Amherst to round out my last semester at school, but I work in the Groton/Waterford CT area whenever I'm not going to school. There were tons of times last summer when I'd wake up at 5 or 6 am and make the 2 hour ride up MA just to meet up for one of the group rides or even to ride solo. It made for some nice and painful 8 to 10 hours of riding, in some cases more.

Wow, well what else can I say except thanks to all of you that showed up today (29 bikes). I am so glad that I got to meet a lot of you. The best thing is that we we all came and left as a group, in one piece and incident free. Im sorry that I dont remember a lot of your names but Im sure that I will be seeing a lot of you this summer. I loved the ride today, couldnt have asked for better weather... not too much traffic and not too much slabbing. I say it was a perfect blend. most of all, great organization and great communication... We all rode freely but safely. Just a great ride overall. Smitty, bummed to hear that you had to bail (he was our sweep haha) but you gotta do what you gotta do. 112 and 116 was a BLAST!! we all rode hard and had fun. I didnt ride tooo hard because of my balding front tire..bummer. I AM holding a ride mid July. The ride is going to be to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Details will be told as soon as possible. Another good thing is that we didnt get split up and we never got lost. Even though I myself got split up when we decided to take 2 routes on 116 haha... yeah it was bad. I called the front of both groups and next thing you know it I have both groupe riding up to me in both directions.. HILARIOUS!! I guess you just had to be there to laugh about it. Thanks to monster636(mo) for bringing your GPS, it was a life saver. The meter maid was a little overboard on those parking tickets, thank god they were only $5. But I guarantee she shit out her tampon when she saw 10 riders running at her haha!! But it is a good story to tell. lets all get together more often this year guys and gals. In BIG groups! Again thank you

I had a good time meeting you all yesturday. Bad with names but I do remember faces. Im sure I willl see you more this year. Im glad the kid on the skateboard came in to tell us about the meter maid giving out tickets. And her face was priceless when all of the Village People came running out at her LOL. True that, thats what happens when you have good leaders and organization...... this ride consisted of a few good leaders and sweepers.... and just overall safe and courteous riders that werent assholes

Great to see you again, bro. Great ride Ray! Perfect weather, only tickets to be had were of the "parking" variety and a great rode to ride on.
Sorry I chose Margarita's...that was a long ass lunch, next time we'll just get McDonald's.

I'm pretty sure may have ran into you guys on 116 around 4:30-ish. I was at the gas station in Ashfield checking my tire (black Ninja) and the group went by, so I tagged along in the back for the rest of 116. I went out on some pretty spirited riding by myself and had an unexpected surprise of my rear tire worn down to the cords (I though it had more life left ) at a gas station in VT, so I split off after 116 and went straight home as quickly as possible.

I would've liked to have met up with you guys at Cumby's this morning, but I checked the site too late and didn't know about the ride until about 20 mins before you headed out.

Too bad, dude. I remember you, I was in the lead on the black R1 that waved. Just keep looking on the ride section, I'll be out again in two weeks.

I met some cool people and saw the "Nice Bikes" that showed up ,Lunch was good except for the mad run to the parking lot to check for tickets ,roads were clean ,weather was more than perfect ,I just need to ride those roads more 116 and 112 again and again .

It doesn't sound like you were on the right part of 116. Rt. 8 is real bumpy and connects to 112, then the part of 116 that goes from 112 down to Deerfield at Rt. 5+10 is the SHIT!! Smooth as hell and twisted up.
