I thought it was 9:30. Thread title says 9:30...
Ah, yes. The retiree social half-hour. I just figured that was at McD's with their free old-fart coffee 'n all.
Stands up at 9:30, no?

09:30..
I should be there by 09:00. Seamus and Jake in tow.
BTW Its MotoGP time!
Thanks all. Beautiful weather for a great ride.
Nice seeing some familiar faces as well as meeting some new people. Appreciate Dave leading and both Mike and Guy for sweeping.
Thank you Seacoast for the ice cream at the Gorge.
I think I may have ridden by the fast group at a gas station after splitting off. Hopefully everything was OK...
Wifey's first ride with this group and at this pace with a group. "That was fun!".
Great ride! Good weather, good roads, good food, good friends. Ok, maybe all the Subarus weren't so good, but other than that.... Any ride we can all get home from and not have to wash the dirt-roads off our bikes (hint, hint, Dave) is a good ride.
Thanks all for showing up! I have a few pics Ill put up later. You can thank Mike for there being no dirt. He issued the challenge! Thanks Guy and Mike for sweeping. And Terry, big time, for running down Collin. It was awesome that we divided and reformed. I guess the draw if Ice Cream, (big thanks to Seacoast Sport Cycle for the treat), will bring a group back together. No incidents or performance awards! Good day indeed...!

Thanks again to all. Especially to Steve in the "fast group" for almost getting me arrested! Good times.
Thanks DAVE!!! Almost 350 miles! Great pace. Hawk and Rick, you guys are too much and I enjoyed you guys. Very good to see eveyone! Terry, Mark, Eric, Guy, Don, Colin, Matt, Steph, Brian...
I didn't reset any trips or gps gizmos, and my phone died mid ride. So I honestly have no idea how many miles. I do know I left the house at 8AM and wasn't back until 7PM.
That, plus some ribs, no performance awards, no incidents, and no breakdowns => a fuckuva good day.
Dave, I was going to bust your balls about something. But the truth is you run a damned nice group ride. And I thank you for it.
As for Terry picking me up and bringing me back into the fold .. he didn't so much .. well, you see I was .. ah hell. Yes, thank you Terry.
And if you were curious, he caught me while his bike was in neutral while in a parking lot. Eff me those Busas are fast!
I clocked 321 miles of fun. Thanks to everyone!

Go fast. Have fun. Repeat.
Thanks for the great ride Dave! And thanks for the ice cream Seacoast! Just shy of 400 miles and 12 hours for me today. Couldn't ask for better weather.
Uhh ohh. Looks like 'bub's video actually worked this time... I'm in trouble.
In her defense I have specifically told her not to move around back there. Lemme bump your legs out of the way, but don't move. Just give me room.
At some future date I can imagine us transferring weight together and... wait... no I can't. Her response will be don't go so fast. That's OK.
At many points during rides she does open the comm channel and ask what various hand / foot signals mean. Today, Matt was telling us it was safe to pass by putting a hand up. She asked why. I explained. Next thing I know she was doing it too.she's pretty awesome, and according to Dave she smells good

Yeah. Her hand signals were pretty awesome. Like I told you, at first I thought it was you just showing off your cruise control and doing hand signals with your right hand or something. Then I realized you had two right hands.
I just watched the bit where she pointed out the enormous pile of road kill. Tell her I appreciate it.
Camera worked some and didn't some. Seems I filled the card at some point. Also I am still experimenting with mounting points. Today I found one that did not work very well at all! POV and angle was awesome. But there was WAAAY too much vibration. Just pruned the complete crap, now imovie gets to chew on it overnight. Maybe I'll have something to share with the class in a day or two.

Lol. Works in multiple situations
Sometimes not moving is perfectly fine. I'll wake her up when it's over![]()
