Anybody going to the Cape blessing of the bikes? W Dennis Beach on 5/5/13 always a fun event. Pope on a tow truck, how can you beat that?

That's the spot! Been the last couple of years and always have a blast. Meet @ 8:00-8:30 i think.

I might head down. I lived there for years so ive got plenty of places to crash (sleep) if i stay too long. Maybe roll out to hyannis and main st for a bit of fun that night.

I had fun the last time I went. I took the early boat over from MV, met some cool people and got to ride some new spots. I also learned a valuable lesson -- know who you plan on riding with. Triple-digit speeds through busy, public, highly-policed roads is not my idea of a good group ride. Group-think got the better of me at first, but after some muppet in front of me almost slid into oncoming when he locked up, I snapped back to reality. I peeled off and spent a couple of hours exploring parts of the Cape I hadn't been to in years.

That kind of stuff I just don't do, only when no one's around, the less factors you have the less you endanger yourself. There's a time and place for everything. Not saying don't enjoy your bike, but I've encountered some riders doing triple digits weaving in and out of moderate traffic on route 6. Pure stupidity. I'm all for having a great time but when you fly by me and the car in the other lane with 1 foot of clearance at 120mph, that even deserves a "punch in the dick".
