This weekend I'm going to be in VT, near Okemo Mt.
On Sat. I can only ride in the morning so I was thinking of doing RT 17. Then on sunday, I'm going to take rt100 south all the way back to MA.
If anyone in the area would like too meet up let me know.
of course you come up the weekend I will be in MA right? Ass![]()

Where in Mass are you going to be riding back to? I dont know what part of rt 100 in VT you'll be riding, but going through Whitingham, Readsboro and Stamford, rt 100 SUCKS. I just had to drive up to Stamford today for work, and I dont think I'd even ride a car down that road if I didnt absolutely have to, its so frost heaved and pot holed. If you're going to be north of Wilmington though, you'll probably be fine, once you pass Mt. Snow/center of Wilmington, it gets alot better, havent gone much past there though.
If you are going to be around on Sunday, let me know. I'll show you some of the more unknown twisties up this way.![]()
I went out today for about 250 miles or so.
Rt 76 from Bethel to Rochester - Good Condition, watch the cops
Rt 125 (Scenic) - Little choppy, but still good.
Route 17 - No traffic over the mountain
RT 108 - Lots of people rock climbing at the top of the notch.
RT 100 Stowe - Waterbury - As usual tons of traffic, no passing oppertunities.
Barre - Detour around main street for car show FUBAR'ing traffic.
Rt 302 - nice and open, some choppy stuff though.
Hope this helps
