I don't live that far away from it but I avoid it like the plague. I hate crowds. Give me lonely country roads and no police and I'm a much happier person. That said, I did reluctantly ride up there for a pass through last year with my wife, sister, brother-in-law, and some guy named Steve on a GSXR1100 that was in dire need of proper jetting (nice guy though). We got stuck behind some slow RUBs on 113. Nearly killed me to go the speed limit on that road.

We definitely want to head to Stonnerstock, but can't make it up until a Saturday evenin'. We were thinking of hanging out until Monday...not sure of the whole dealio though.

It's a simple notion, really. Just don't make plans for Rally & Race Week. You'll be tossing a tent up in our yard that week. Easy enough?

Details will be up shortly. Until then, just plan on camping at our place. The *BIG*digs is Saturday, the 14th though. But if any of ya'll are heading up early, ya'll have a place to pitch camp...

Normally the ride up Mt. Washington happens on Friday. But due to my racing this year, I may not be able to make that. Maybe earlier in the week? Thursday's out as that's bikes only, and from what I hear it's nothing but Hardleys. And those of us that know, it TOTALLY sucks following some fat, smelly bastard that's riding slow enough to tip over UP the mountain...

Not sure what day yet. It'll most likely NOT be Thursday, as that day they only let bikes up. It's bad enough to hafta follow a bunch of couches up on any other day. Never mind when 50,000 Hardley's try going up it all at once...:

I'm not saying it WON'T happen on Friday, either. Just that this year, I'll most likely be riding in the endurance race that's normally held on that day...
