I have chuckled the past couple of days. I have ridden past a swamp and noticed the large body of water has a good solid layer of ice. Still on 2 Hope Monday and Tuesday does not ruin my season. I'll ride till the sand and salt flies.

Today seems like a good day for it. I have been in front of the comp all morning and will be all day finishing up projects.

Temp is 50 here today, ridin' weather. It's cold enough nights to skim over the smaller ponds around Concord MA, and they retain it through the day.

Planned to go out to MotoMarket and back today and when I got there who was there? whynot with his orange triple. We took a ride north. frozen thumbs be damned.

He lost his heated gear towards the end of the ride so we had to stop to sort it out:

Even with heated grips riding at temps that are slightly above freezing is not recommended....

granted, cruzing around on a 2010 GS and a 2010 Sprint GT is awesome even in the cold.....

First snow im done, but til then i am riding almost everyday....

got in about 30 miles with this during the day while they worked on putting the extras on the GS

In Boston, MA, so ride year long. Heated gear if need to, but most of my rides are short so even with 26 degrees this morning, Held Freezer gloves were fine and no heated gear needed. Helped to have full textile on with liners. I had the pleasure of riding through the snow one unexpected morning after a call. I wish I would be done with work earlier on Th to make it to MM

I'm just about done for the season. Going to change the oil on Sunday and will most likely put it away on Monday.

I'm still riding, but only when the destination is a longer ride than the time to get dressed, I went for joy ride last saturday & sunday, about 400 miles total, thursday & friday I had to attend some CUE classes so I rode my bike both days. thursday moring I took a shortcut gravel road that ended up being a sea of mud from the previous days warmth & rain, at least the mud wasn't sloppy at 0dark30 in the am when it was maybe 18°. thursday nite was cooling off after dark as well, Friday morning, I took a longer and more traffic route, also more black ice. and in the afternoon, events ended earlier, I got to ride around and get in a 100 miles or so before dark

I checked the forecast this morning: 33, feels like 19. No can do anymore. You riding after it snows and they start putting sand down?

Supposed to snow all week here Looks like it's time to change the oil and put the Sprint up on stands. Hopefully we get some warm days in January.

yeah, i do regret not putting the frame sliders I bought my wife on the Ducati...just in case. Probably better to ride the Monster in the winter...less plastics to worry about. I do ride unless there is ice/snow on the ground

I rode to work yesterday. It was pretty cold (no heated gear, heated grips not on yet), but it was nice. Looks like the weekend may be decent.
