Just got myself a 2004 Honda XR250R. This is my first dirt bike since 30 years ago. I would like to find some trails in my area and some friends to go along with. The bike is plated and has a NH OHRV sticker.

2018 Ducati Desert Sled
2017 Honda Grom (lot's of Mods)
2016 KTM 300 XC-W, 2015 KTM 350 XCF-W
You and Roland should meet.
How do I find this Roland that you speak of?

Go to NHMS on any given race weekend, stand in the garages in the infield and scream "arduino's rule!" at the top of your lungs. You'll meet him.
Seriously though, we should all get together and ride sometime.. when I'm not so damned busy.

Evidence of our noobness.
Unfortunately there aren't any real trails in your area that you can ride with a NH off road sticker. The closest would be the Rockingham rail trail spur from Fremont to Derry which is a fun ride but you quickly realize it isn't too challenging. The closest real place to ride is the Hopkinton-Everett Riding Area in the Dunbarton area (aka Clough state park). It has real trails and some single track specifically for trail bikes.
Your best bet is to get your bike plated (super easy in NH) which will open up all the Class-6 roads in the state for your enjoyment.

Also take a look at the NETRA website for turkey runs which will open up a lot of trails for you in a noncompetitive environment. You would still need a plated bike for a lot of them.

I'm not familiar with the class-6 roads in the Epping area but the process of exploring and finding them can be quite fun.

There are a bunch in your area. More than I realized.
