I might be down with this actually... planning on heading up that way with a couple others.. leaving hartford around 7-8. Could meet in amherst w/ you guys and carry on.

What pace are you thinking? Any idea?

I'm a maybe, if I come, I'll sweep... it'd be nice if you guys moved the start time up a bit though. 7:00am would mean a lot less traffic for a few hours...

I'll roll with you early and then go meet up with them and run it backwards lol. We'll see.

It doesn't matter what time you start if you're going to be a hooligan... the worst is when you piss off the cagers and then stop and wait for everyone and they pass you all pissed off lol.

I'm gonna try my best to be there for the ride. If so, I'd be down for a earlier start. When I was up at UMass I'd get up real early and hit 116...it definitely helps cut down on getting hung up in traffic.

not sure how the weather will be. Did this same route exactly 1 year ago (8.1.09) and it was a bit foggy and damp early morning.. like 5am early. Same thing a couple weeks ago when I went up w/ ilikenapalm.

I think as long as it doesn't rain the night before we should be good to go as far as the fog is concerned.

True.

I saw street sweepers out today too which was nice... bout time.

I believe it was 116 that had some loose gravel and some dug up road that was just patched with gravel ... right?

116 was fine as of yesterday afternoon. Weather looks dry all week with the exception of maybe Thurs early AM so I dont see any big issues.
